Voters may submit an online application at https:\/\/securemyabsenteeballot.sos.ga.gov<\/a>, call, or email a request to have an absentee ballot application mailed to you.<\/strong><\/p>\n

A drop box has been provided in the Elections office lobby to return mail ballots in person; you can also drop them off at the office front counter or return them in the mail.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The LAST day<\/strong> voter registration forms can be accepted is October, 06<\/span>\u00a02025<\/span><\/strong>.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

The LAST day we can accept an absentee by mail ballot application and mail absentee ballots to voters is October, <\/span>24 2025<\/span>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

On the LAST DAY TO VOTE (November, 04<\/span>\u00a02025<\/span>) you may vote from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. at the Board of Elections office.<\/strong><\/p>\n

EARLY SCANNING:<\/strong> The Lanier County Board of Elections will begin scanning Absentee by mail ballots at 3:00P.M. on Tuesday 04 November 2025, and continuing as they arrive in the Elections office.<\/p>\n

EARLY COMPUTATION<\/strong>: On Election Day, 04 November 2025, the Lanier County Elections office will begin tabulating ballots at 3:00 P.M. at 162 W. Thigpen Ave. Ste C., Lakeland. Results will not be available until after 7 P.M.<\/p>\n

CERTIFICATION:<\/strong> Notice is hereby given that computation, canvassing and certification of the returns of votes cast in the<\/p>\n

04 November 2025 Election will take place in the Lanier County Elections office, on Monday, 10 November 2025, at 5:00 P.M.<\/p>\n

All events are open to viewing by the public and will be conducted at the Elections office, 162 W. Thigpen Ave Suite C, Lakeland.<\/p>\n

LOGIC AND ACCURACY TESTING PUBLIC NOTICE<\/p>\n

Notice is hereby given that the preparation and testing of voting system components to be used in the 04 November 2025 Election will begin on Monday, 29 October 2025, at 9:00 a.m., or after the scheduled date upon receipt of the database. The testing will occur at the Lanier County Elections office located at 162 W Thigpen Ave, Ste C in Lakeland. Preparation and testing will continue from day to day until complete, and representatives of political parties and bodies, news media, and the public are permitted to observe such tests. The Board of Elections & Registration provides the following services:<\/h2>\n

The Board of Elections & Registration registers all eligible citizens to vote, provides free voter ID’s, and maintains district maps for Lanier County. We also conduct all Federal, State and County wide elections, maintain election results, and uphold election laws regarding registration and voting.<\/p>\n

To register to vote you must:<\/h2>\n

1. Be a citizen of the United States
\n2. Be a legal resident of the Lanier County
\n3. Be at least 17 1\/2 years of age to register and 18 years of age to vote
\n4. Not be serving a sentence for conviction of a felony involving moral turpitude
